About Me
Aviva Schecterson, a Senior Combat Designer at Stoic Studio while living in the greater Seattle area, is a passionate advocate for the gaming community. Beyond her impactful role at Stoic Studio, Aviva dedicates her time to mentor aspiring game developers in various programs and serves as Chair of the IGDA Jewish Game Developers SIG.
Her career encompasses roles at Amazon Game Studios as a game designer (Crucible, New World) and Lone Shark Games as a tabletop games developer and editor. A 2016 graduate of DigiPen Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design, Aviva also holds an Associate of Arts in Digital Gaming from Bellevue College (2012). During her time in college, she gained valuable experience through internships at Paizo and Signal Studios.
